URINE SENSOR IN PAPER DIAPER AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING PRESENCE OF URINE

PURPOSE:To eliminate a feeling of foreign matter and uneasiness of heat generation by poor contact or the like with a very small current flow in a sensor so as to provide suitability for disposable use at a super low cost by providing a conductive substance on an insulting substance and arranging water absorptive resin and water absorptive paper in the periphery of the conductive substance. CONSTITUTION:Two nonaqueous conductive inks are linearly opposedly drawn in a water absorptive material side of a waterproof material, and an urine sensor is formed by the paired inks. The urine sensor is coated with a water absorptive material 3 and placed in a spot where the sensor is mostly immersed in urine. A paper diaper side electric contact part 10 and a diaper cover side electric contact part 12 are crossed at a right angle in the respective center points in a condition that a standard diaper is set. It is rational to set any of the electric contact parts 10, 11, 12, 13 to an equal length, and the length is set such that the opposed electric contact can be crossed even when a set of diapers is displaced in a range with unevenness possible. Since paper diaper side wiring is disposably used with a paper diaper, durability is only required for a very short period, and the material can be chosen by attaching importance to the cost.
