PURPOSE:To quickly observe the state of a fire by introducing one light of two lights obtained by dividing a light by an optical path dividing device provided between a lighting optical system and a high-speed camera into the high- speed camera, multiplying the other light by a light multiplying optical system to introduce it into the high-speed camera, and recording the picture-images of both the lights in parallel on a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A lightemitted from a lighting optical system 10 is divided into two lights by an optical path dividing device 14. One divided light L1 is entered into a high-speed camera 21, and the other divided light is multiplied by a light multiplying optical system 15 and introduced into the high-speed camera 21 as a monochromatic image. Thus, a fire image G1 due to the light L1 and a fire image G2 due to the multiplied light L2 are recorded in parallel on a recording medium 22 photographed by the high-speed camera 21.
