PURPOSE:To effectively recover Mn content in Mn oxide in slag to molten iron, by charging slag having high basicity and high MnO generating at dephosphorizing stage for molten iron into a receiving vessel for the molten iron and executing desiliconizing treatment after receiving the molten iron. CONSTITUTION:Refining agent for treating dephosphorization containing Mn oxide is used, and CaCl2 is added to =5% of total quantity of treating agent at =1,200 deg.C treating temp., to execute the dephosphorizing treatment of the molten iron. the slag having high basicity, such as =3 basicity and high MnO, such as =4% MnO, generating at this dephosphorizing stage, is charged into the receiving vessel for the molten iron, and the molten iron from blast furnace is received, to execute desiliconizing treatment of the molten iron. By this method, Mn content in Mn oxide can be effectively received.
