METHOD OF IMPROVING GROUND PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND CONTINUOUS WALL

PURPOSE:To reliably prevent leakage of water from a joint part, by a method wherein, prior to construction of an underground continuous wall, temporary ditches are excavated as portions, equivalent to the outside parts of the both sides of the joint part, are filled with a stabilizing solution, and the stabilizing solution is then cured. CONSTITUTION:Prior to construction of an underground continuous wall 1, temporary ditches 5 and 5' are excavated as positions, equivalent to the outside parts 4 and 4' of the both sides of a joint part 3 between unit walls 2 and 2', are filled with a stabilizing solution, then the stabilizing solution is cured to form wall-shaped cured bodies 6 and 6'. Thereafter, the underground continuous wall 1 is constructed so that the joint part 3 between the unit walls 2 and 2' is positioned between the wall-shaped cured bodies 6 and 6'.
