The proposed method can be applied to experimental genetics. It is reproducible and affords a possibility for precise assessment to the role of translocation. The method consists of the following: male C57B1 mice are subjected to irradiation with γ-rays and are then coupled with reproductively mature females. The prodigy born is coupled with the respective control partners and the sexually mature cells of the male prodigy thereof are examined for the presence of reciprocal translocation.
