摘要
This method is applied in radionuclide dentistry laboratory tests. It determines precisely the impregnation of radionuclide solutions in the micro apertures by allowing for good washing and the deactivation of the radio-active substance of the free teeth surfaces of the obturation at 1 mm from the obturation-edge of the cavity boundary, without being influenced by the impregnated radio-active solution in the micro-aperture between the obturation and the walls of the cavity. Consequently, the free teeth surfaces and the obturation are covered with a lighter gloss, while, after the ejection of the samples from the radio-active solution, the latter are dried, and the border between the obturation and the tooth's cavity is covered with a darker gloss, washed out under flowing water for 3 to 4 hours, and then with a brush and detergents for 30 to 40 minutes. Then, peelers remove the light gloss from the tooth's surface and the obturation under flowing water. After that, the samples are again washed and a separator cuts through the obturation and the tooth, while the tooth section is fixated with glue on an X-ray film, which afterwards is treated and read following standard rules.
