PURPOSE: To obtain a core/shell structure water-dispersible hybrid polymer and a process for producing the same. ;CONSTITUTION: There is provided a core/shell structure hybrid polymer which is based on a polymer (core) of an unsaturated acid group functionalized poly(epoxyester) onto which at least one addition polymer-based chain (shell) has been grafted. There are also provided an aqueous dispersion of these hybrid polymers and a coating composition obtained therefrom.
