A known irrigation emitter unit provided at the end of an irrigation pipe comprises an inner member located and retained inside an outer member by way of a plastic molded annular flange and recess. This is unsatisfactory in that the inner member can be expelled from the outer member given a relatively high water pressure and in that the inner member is recessed with respect to the outer edges of the outer member wherein water can accumulate. The present invention is directed to an irrigation emitter unit comprising an outer member (11) in which is located an inner member (25) by way of molded terminal portions (20) of the outer member (11). Both the inner and outer members form a flush unit. Furthermore, as the terminal portions (20) are molded to the inner members (25), the irrigation emitter unit can withstand a greater water pressure than known previously.
