The present invention relates to homogeneous, stable and flowable (pourable) aqueous mixtures which are capable of forming stable and flowable (pourable) dispersions with water-insoluble substances. They are characterised in that they comprise: - at least one water-soluble derivative of a crop-protecting active ingredient, said derivative containing at least one ionisable group and at least one hydrophobic group, - at least one non-ionic surfactant and/or an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or arylaliphatic alcohol having 4 to 15 carbon atoms, - and the remainder being water, and in that they have a pour point of 0.1 Pascal or above. The invention also relates to the use of these mixtures for preparing stable aqueous dispersions of water-insoluble substances, which are mostly solid active substances for crop protection which are insoluble in water.
