The windmill has the axis of rotation extending vertically in relation to the ground and turns as the result of the difference in flow resistance at opposite sides of this axis. It comprises a structure covered with sails. The structure can enclose a space forming a vertical tube with hexagonal base, concentrically inside which is a second tube of the same height. The sides of its hexagonal base are parallel to those of the enclosing tube.
