Building facade construction comprises vertical and horizontal profiles (4b) for the support of insulated (8b) and/or glazed (10b) panels having a sealing profile assembly (32) on the weather or outwardly exposed side (A). The sealing profile (34) is pref. constructed from glassfibre reinfroced polyester and is fastened to an attachment profile (16) by hooking engagement of two L-form sections (46, 48) on the sealing profile with two similar L-form sections (24, 26) on the attachment profile and extending across the support frame (4b). The outer edges of the sealing profile assembly (32) carry resilient, compressed weather seals (50, 52).
