The invention concerns a double-layer method of exploitation of thick or very thick deposit, particularly of copper ore, whose exploitation port includes in roof compact and solid rocks, particularly e.g. dolomites, and weak in central and floor section, particularly e.g. sandstones, characterised in that assumed for exploitation section of deposit is made in the direction of progress of exploitation works at least one main heading (1) of height (H) from compact roof of top layer (W1) to floor of bottom layer(W2), on whose floor is set supporting lining (4) of height not greater than thickness of bottom layer separated in deposit (W2), next the heading (1) is packed in space beyond and above its lining (4) by means of hydraulic packing (6), particularly up to height equal to thickness of bottom layer (W2), next prior to commencement of exploiting of pillars of top layer (W1) is removed from main heading (1) supporting lining (4) and packing sand on the length especially equal to step (k) of packing (6), however, this packing sand from above lining (4) is removed preferably towards rear, to post-exploitation cavity from previous cycle of exploitation, which cavity is then filled with hydraulic packing (9).IMAGE
