A method of foundation work of structures on industrial waste heaps, which involves proper strengthening the heap as the base for designed structure loads characterized in that for a given material and heap moisture, a minimal unit energy (Ep) is determined, which is needed to obtain maximal volume thickness of the heap framework, and further, assuming that it is an indicator of load-bearing capacity of the soil (Ic), the heap is compacted with impact machines, within the active zone (B'x L'he) established for the designed structure (1) with the use of thickening energy not lower than the energy resulting from unit energy (Ep).IMAGE
