To apply ornamental and decorative motives on the surface of hard stones and similar, the project indicates:1. the copy of the ornamental motive on transparent support2. the preparation of the stone by initial washing, de-greasing and drying3. the sensitisation of the stone by covering with photosensitive paint, spray or immersion, pre-firing to set the "resist" layer, finally cooling at room temperature. Printing the ornament on the stone by exposing it to U.V. rays and protecting by the master: the aforesaid printing, involves a heating phase, a U.V. expositions, then a development of the image and following firing for approximately 15 minutes; since with such process the picture shape is shown - not polymerised "resist" zones; the remaining part, polymerised, is firm on the stone; metallization, consisting in exposing under pressure the stone to vaporized metal; final firing at appropriate temperature to eliminate polymerised and metallised "resist" that still covers part of the stone surface leaving only the wanted part, covered with the metal.
