The device for the sterilization of waste is basically made up of: one box (1) in which there is a basket (2) to collect waste, previously packed in a container (4) and closed hermetically; heating devices that work inside the cave (1a) determined by the box (1). The heating devices are aimed at making all points of the container (4) reach a temperature ranging between 100 and 130 degrees C, which corresponds to the waste sterilization temperature; time control devices (6) that control the heating devices (5) and that must keep the cave (1a) and the container (4) at sterilization temperature for a predetermined length of time, which must range from 3 to 6 hours and be sufficient to cover the whole waste treatment.
