In order to provide an inexpensive small pallet of this type which guarantees secure transportation with the aid of floor conveyors (lifting trucks, fork lift trucks) despite the reduced dimensions, the centre line (L) of the loading channel (5) is offset relative to the parallel centre line (M) of the pallet surface and, along the free edge of the half of the pallet surface facing away from the centre line of the channel, a lateral, free flange or web (6) is provided, under which a loading bar can grip from the stand surface and which extends beyond the lateral boundary (31) of the support element.
