The construction of negative attack four-wheeled split bogies, which is possible thanks to the application of independent railway wheels, is achieved by means of the matched juxtaposition of two half-bogies, in the manner of an X, each one of which has two wheels in tandem, whose flange/rail angle of attack can be arranged, forming a negative angle in the direction of advance. The half-bogies are joined together by a spherical pivot joint, inside which a bolt is inserted, which joins the two half-bogies to the vehicle, each half-bogie leaning on the opposite one by means of extensions of the central bridges which slide on the opposite longitudinal members, constituting individual isostatic supports.
