Blood pump for extracorporeal circulation and ventricular assistance. It consists of a stator 1 inside which, positioned one over the other and separated by an intermediate partition, there are two chambers, a lower one which houses a rotary disk 6 mounted on the drive shaft 7, for the operation thereof by magnetic, mechanical or electrical means, with a disk connected concentrically and provided with the shaft 7, which in turn is eccentrically integral with another disk 10, housed inside the rotor 11, in the base or lower plane thereof, with the rotor having a tapering shape with convexly curved sides that converge at their ends, making a rotary movement inside the stator, of an epitrochoidal form, given that the cavity through which it runs takes on a flattened circular shape, and in its upper part the rotor has a cutout in the form of an annulus 14, which engages with a pinion 15 that is integral with the lid or cover of the stator, incorporating tubes 17 for drawing in and impelling the blood, which are tangential to the internal cavity 12 of the stator, on both sides thereof and positioned parallel to each other.
