SWING CHECK VALVE WITH REMOVABLE CAGE AND DISC

Abstract of the DisclosureA swing check valve having the disc supported in asurrounding cage and constructed with a minimum swinging arc.The cage is designed to permit the swinging movement of the discthrough approximately 90° and the cage is constructed to guidethe disc in its final closing "floating" movement. The end por-tions of the hinge pin for the disc are mounted in recesses facingan abutting valve seat. In all embodiments, the disc and cage maybe readily replaced for repair of the valve.
