ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE:Disclosed herein is a sesquilignan derivativeof the formula:wherein R1 is hydrogen or hydroxy, R2 is hydrogen or acetyl,R3 is hydrogen or methoxy, R4 is hydrogen or methoxy, n isinteger of 0 or 1, with the proviso that when R1 and R2is hydrogen, R3 is methoxy and R4 is hydrogen; thesecompounds possess pesticidal properties.
