ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA structure to be subjected to bending andfatigue loading comprises two components havingdifferent stiffness connected together. Deflection ofthe more flexible component is accommodated by theinterposition of an intermediate member of varyingflexibility between the components or by providing theless flexible component with a flexible portion to actas a fulcrum for the deflection. The components may bea radar-transparent cover and a mounting therefor foruse in a submarine.
