Abstract of the DisclosureA chromosomal DNA sequence which codes forhuman lymphotoxin, a lymphotoxin expression vector whichcontains a DNA sequence wherein a chromosomal DNAsequence coding for human lymphotoxin and promoter regionwhich functions in animal cell are linked together,lymphotoxin resistant cell line, transformed animal cellculture which is formed by transforming cultured animalcell with a lymphotoxin expression vector which containsa chromosomal DNA sequence coding for human lymphotoxinand, a process for preparing human lymphotoxin, whichcomprises transforming cultured animal cell with alymphotoxin expression vector which contains achromosomal DNA sequence coding for human lymphotoxin,culturing the transformed cell culture to produce humanlymphotoxin, and collecting the human lymphotoxin.According to the present invention, LT which isexpected for application as the antitumor agent can beproduced effectively in a large amount.
