ABSTRACTThe invention relates to a fibre-optic component.It includes an optical fibre, the core of which iscomposed of a material which becomes light-amplifying byoptical pumping.It further includes means for production of thepumping wave in the form of a variable interference fieldincluding strata over at least a part of the core of theoptical fibre.This component permits the extraction and theinjection of a selected fraction of the luminous fluxguided by the fibre.
