The shelving unit comprises uprights (1) arranged in pairs following transverse alignments and produced in the form of hollow casings with a T-shaped cross-section. In the lateral openings (2) of square profile (2) of these uprights are engaged supports (6) which penetrate inside openings (10) made on the longitudinal sides of the shelves (7); the structure is rendered extremely stable by the presence of projecting fins (8) which bear on the inner wall of the uprights (1) while teeth (9) bear on the wall of the latter, rendering the structure very stable and facilitating assembly.
