Method and apparatus for constraint-oriented inference

摘要

A method and an apparatus for constraint-oriented inference with an improved knowledge base formation efficiency and ability to maintain consistency among slots is disclosed, in which constraints indicating relationships among slot values of frames are stored collectively, pointers which make the constraints accessible by relevant slots are attached automatically, and the constraints are simplified by inserting the slot values determined in processes of inference.
