In an attachment device for a variable-pitch sheathed propfan blade on a rotor, the propfan blade (1) is held in a swallowtail holder (12) of a blade carrier (3), and fixed against axial movement of the propfan blade (1) by means of a first safety device (13, 15), the blade carrier (3) being secured against radial movement by means of a second safety device (8) accessible from outside. This enables a simple and rapid assembly and disassembly of the propfan blades.
