Process for elimination of arsenic and/or antimony from solutions containing arsenic and/or antimony as anionic fluorine complexes

A process has been developed in which fluoroarsenate ions and/or fluoroantimonate ions are precipitated, using quaternary phosphonium or ammonium compounds as precipitants, from solutions containing arsenic and/or antimony as fluoro complexes. The process can be combined with a conventional precipitation process for arsenic oxo anions and/or antimony oxo anions.
