Improved device for automatically placing, by means of helicopters, marker balls on aerial lines, particularly power lines

The device comprises a structure (11) which is intended to be suspended from the barycentric hook of the helicopter, in which parallel and vertical guides (20,21) delimit at least one pair of magazines for containing respective stacks of hemispheres (13) which are intended to compose the marker balls. The improvement consists in adopting active means (32,33 and 37,38) for the extraction, placement and mutual coupling of the hemispheres stacked in the respective stacks. The active means are preferably constituted by coaxial fluid-activated grip and pusher jacks which are supported in an oscillatable manner by an operating head (29) articulated below the structure (11) of the device.
