Process for enriching magnetic fines originating from the recovery in certain ferrous byproducts resulting from iron and steel production. Process characterised in that the enriching of the fine substances in iron is performed by a moistening of the crude products as soon as they enter the treatment line, that the moist products are sorted magnetically and that a selection of the ferrous byproducts by a wet route according to particle size and density is carried out.
