Stationary mould support for a plastic injection moulding machine

The plastics material can be injected into injection moulds (34), which can be mounted according to choice on the mould support, by means of an injection unit which can be displaced in the horizontal direction transversely to the injection axis. During displacing of the injection unit, the free ends of piston rods (30) of the drive cylinders of the injection unit are accommodated in sleeves of a sleeve support (17) which can be displaced in the mould support. The said sleeve support has between its sleeves a clearance (39) for the passage of the plasticising cylinder of the injection unit. The sleeve support (17) bridges the passage opening (11) of the mould support (10) in the regions through which the plasticising cylinder does not pass. This achieves the effect that injection units of which the piston rods (30) lie in a horizontal plane can be used (Fig. 1). IMAGE
