The number of detected cores and opening cores are digitally displayed on the controller and the alarm signals sound on detecting the opening cores. A stepping motor is driven by an optic-sensor and is driven in regular or reverse direction by a program command. Revolving plates (2)(8) which have indexing grooves (2a)(8a), contact to the stepping motor (1). The optic-sensor (9) is controlled by the revolving plate (8). The stepping motor which is controlled by the optic-sensor and is in regular operation stops and the motor is reversely driven for a specified time. The core of multi-core cable is exactly extracted by the revolving plate (2).
