The carrier comprises a non-conductive track with a series of spaced bores (1..18) arranged in 2 distinct zones (19, 20), respectively having 3 collector or phase rail planes (24, 25, 26), and 3 planes (27, 28, 29) for the cable connections. Pref. the track has a greater thickness in the phase rail zone (19) than in the cable connection zone (20). The bores pref. lie along the centre of the track, each having an internal thread, to allow fixing of the collector rails via screw clamps (30, 31). ADVANTAGE - Suitable for different current ratings.
