The invention relates to an apparatus for the production of metallic hollow parts, especially on pressing machines or swaging machines and hydraulic presses, where the plastic deformation can be performed without preliminary heating of the workpieces. The aim of the invention is to provide an apparatus which is suitable both for pressing or swaging machines and for hydraulic presses and by means of which optimum flow of the material for the forming process is achieved. This object is achieved by the solution according to the invention, in which, taking into account the machine kinematics and load-bearing capacity, a uniform feed rate of the reducing tool and the forming punch is achieved by coupling them together mechanically or by means of a control system for controlling the sleeve force, thereby avoiding the cracks which hitherto appeared in the workpiece due to non-uniformity in the flow of the material. The apparatus is used in machine and plant construction.
