A full section tunnel driving machine for shield driving mining roadways has a pilot drilling head (4) revolving on a telescopic shaft (13) in a telescopic housing (14). The drill head (4) has supplementary heads (18) at a splayed angle operating all together. Set back from these heads are other roller drills (9) attached to swinging arms (7) pivots (8) on the end of the telescopic drilling head (3). These drills (9) excavate the face (5) from the perimeter of the pilot hole (6) outwards (21) to the limit of the shield (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - A wider excavation of the face is achieved.
