The level indicator produces signals at least for the maximum and minimum levels. An electronic, battery-powered control circuit (ST) is switched on for a defined time using a pushbutton switch (S). During the on period, the control circuit is driven by a contact (Ku), slightly above the container (10) base (11) and another contact (Ko) at the maximum level. It generates a first visual signal when neither contact is in liquid, a second signal when only the first contact is immersed and a third signal when both contacts are immersed. USE/ADVANTAGE - For hydroculture container. Enables reliable detection of at least the maximum and minimum levels in a container without using moving parts.
