The sorbing appts. sorter has a feed path (8) and at least two sorting paths (9) branching off it. Each sorting path has a deflector (11) controlled by a colour sensor (12) in the feed path. The sorting appts. is arranged between the brush manufacturing machine (2) and a packaging machine (3). The ends of the sorting paths are connected to a collection path, esp. leading to the packaging machine. ADVANTAGE - Defective brushes have no effect on the defined colour sequence.
