Light-emitting diodes, filament lamps of neon lamps are used with various kinds of switches, magnetic cards, pushbuttons, contacts and proximity switches or ultrasonic or infrared detectors. The lighting is visible from inside and outside. The entire doorway is illuminated in addn. to the actual lock. The light is switched on by completion of a circuit through the cylinder lock and the light-emitting devices and switching elements cited. Corresp. graphical presentations could be produced after consultation with interested parties. USE - On e.g. motor vehicle and dwellinghouse door locks, padlocks.
