Circumferential sub-division of the tread pattern of a tyre is determined where the profile has oblique grooves with bent ends and diagonal elements arranged arrow-fashion. ADVANTAGE - The sub-division improves road adhesion in wet conditions, drainage, steer, wear, noise emission. The tread is divided into sections with different lengths depending upon characteristics.
