The loading and conveying machinery (21, 22) is used in a tunnel. It is esp. for getting away muck accumulating at the face as a result of shield driving operations in a mine or tunnel. The loader and conveyor (21, 22) operate as a unit on the floor of the tunnel inside the shield (1), and above the conveyor (21) is a stationary muck breaker (30) whose height is adjusted by a hydraulic cylinder (32) housed in the tubular casing (3) of the cutter machine (2), which also contains the motor (4). The breaker (30) is a transverse spiked roller (31). USE/ADVANTAGE - The muck is loaded directly from the face avoiding collision with the excavating cutter machine.
