Messages broadcast by radio are received, decoded and stored in memory from which they can be retrieved at any time, e.g. at the touch of a button, for visual display or audible reprodn. Obsolete information is automatically overwritten or erased so that the presentation on recall is always of the most recently decoded message from a transmitter selected for optimum reception. USE/ADVANTAGE - By drivers liable to be distracted by hazardous situations, noises or child passengers. Most up-to-date information is always available from memory chips of only limited capacity.
