Lid muscle exercising device - is for players of brass and woodwind instruments and consists of spring-loaded rod in tubular housing

The device for exercising the lips and facial muscles of the players of brass and woodwind instruments consists of a tubular housing (3) in which an axially sliding rod (1) with a rounded outer end, is fitted. The rod passes through a compression spring (3) which is fitted inside the tubular housing. The rod is retained by a support plate (4) and a tubular nut (5) which engages a screw thread on the end of the rod. The tubular nut enables the force, exerted by the spring, to be adjusted. USE/ADVANTAGE - Exercising of lips and facial muscles which is more effective than practising by playing the woodwind and brass musical instruments.
