Side slope stabilisation - uses upright steel lattice with connected top and bottom geo-textile mats

The process is for the formation of a stabilisation device, consisting of one or more support layers, and steel trellis mats on the visible side. It is anchored to the slope by geotextile lengths, and backfilled with soil, etc. A rectangular steel lattice mat is connected top and bottom to geotextile mats. The lower mat is placed on the base of the slope, or a horizontal support layer, and the vertical steel lattice is supported. The space between steel mat and slope is backfilled, and the top mat is placed across it. One or more additional support layers, are constructed on top, with a covering layer of soil or backfill material.
