The gear arrangement comprises a piston - thrust rod unit, distance pieces slide bearing plates, both parts of a closure traverse, expansion screws, the two body halves of the crank slide, locating plates, slide bearing shells, and clamping sleeves. The frame thus formed has the shape of a rectangular thruster aperture at the foot end of the thrust rod (2) representing the cross thrust ring for the crank slide (K). This consists of two parts (11`, 11") which with their slide bearing shells (4) and a play compensation arrangement (6) can be assembled to a body formation on the crankshaft (14).
