Each of the medium flows passes through its own meander-form pipe serpentine circuit, the circuits being arrnged in two or more aprallel planes to one another. Meat transmission is produced indirectly via a number of single-part heat conductive plates fitted transversally to the pipe circuits. The heat-associating pipe pairs are so assembled that for the pipe pairs in front of and behind them a heat flow obstruction in the form of a material narrowing occurs in the connecting plate. Dependent upon the volume flow extent of the media, several heat exchangers are connected parallel to distributors and collectors via blockable and releasable unions.
