Personnel security system for maintenance work on machinery - requires listed operators and safety engineer to release key for master switch by removal of padlocks

All involved personnel are listed and each is provided with a numbered padlock (G, H) to be secured to one of two stirrups (C, D), over which slides a metallic plate (E) carrying the master-switch key (F) for the appts. to be worked upon. After completion of the work, the machinery can be restarted only after the safety engineer has removed one padlock (H) and all operators have removed theirs (G). USE/ADVANTAGE - At mfg. or processing plants where repair or cleaning is performed during downtime. Operation can be resumed safely without need to search for personnel at risk.
