Double duct nozzle for burner - has second duct in form of cone which surrounds first duct

The burner, using gaseous fuel, is fitted with a nozzle which has two ducts, one duct (1) for the fuel and the other duct (2) for the combustion air. One duct consists of a straight tube of uniform diameter. The second duct is of conical form and surrounds the first duct so that the outlet from the second duct is in the form of a radial gap around the outside of the tube which forms the first duct. The medium flowing through this narrow gap flows at a high velocity which causes a reduction in pressure at the duct outlet. This reduction in pressure increases the flow through the first duct. USE/ADVANTAGE - Nozzle with a double duct for supplying a mixture of air and gaseous fuel to a burner.
