Prodn. method for twin or multi-shell container from cardboard - uses base frame with at least two male and female die assemblies

The upper part (2) has at least two male dies (5,6) involving a section of material (9) between the base frame (1) and the upper part (2). The material is formed into two or more interconnected containers, and one of the tools used, which work in conjunction with one another, is spring-pliable so that the container applied to it is formed before the others. The outer edge areas of the section of material (9) is not firmly fixed during formation of the two containers. The upper part supporting the dies can move forwards and backwards, and the base frame (1) is in two parts, with one female die (4) held stationarily whilst the other (3) is spring-pliable in its location. USE - To produce two or multi-shell containers from cardboard.
