Stack of foam slabs for roof insulation - has lowest slab underside incorporating several parallel fillets releasably attached and also made of foam

The flat slabs (1) for roof insulation are made of polyurethane foam, and have a rectangular cross-section. They can be provided with an aluminium foil sheet on their upper and lower sides. On the lower side of the lowest slab, three parallel running fillets (2) are arranged, extending over the complete length of the slab. One of the fillets is positioned centrally, whilst the other two are arranged directly at the edges of the slab. This provides an insert space (3) between two adjacent fillets for the forks of a stacker truck. These spaces (3) are limited on both sides by the fillets, and at the top by the under side of the slab. The fillets (2) can also be made of foam, pref. the same sort as the slabs, to which they are connected, e.g. by adhesion. This connection is such that the fillets can be removed, without the foam slab being damaged. USE/ADVANTAGE - For handling foam slabs used for roof insulation, obviating the need for using a special pallet.
