The magnet system uses a ring of homogenously magnetised magnetic blocks (1, 4, 6, 7, 9,...12), the magnetisation directions of which differ from one another according to a defined formula, to obtain a uniform magnetic field. The magnetic blocks (1, 4, 6, 7, 9,...12) have a square cross-section, all having the same size, with an angle of 45 degrees between the magnetisation direction of each block and the next. Pref. the rings are arranged in two concentric rings, the magnetic blocks in the 2 rings being of different size. -
