An all-weather head cover comprises a cup with a closeable pocket in which a protective cape can be stored in a folded condition when not in use. In the unfolded condition, the cape is inserted into the pocket by means of an extension. The pocket has a rear wall facing the head space and a front part comprising two segments locked together by a rapid closure fastener. The cape is mfd. in plastic. USE/ADVANTAGE - The headgear can be used for protection from the elements in all weathers and the cape does not affect the freedom of movement of the wearer.
